With a passionate interest and enthusiastic response, the evaluation panel of the Best Corporate Citizen Sustainability Award 2013 is under the process of assessing numerous numbers of applications received for its annual event that is scheduled to take place later this year.
“Compared to last year, we have received more applications from many different sectors such as Banking and Finance, Insurance, Construction, Leisure, Telecommunications, Apparel, Food and Beverages, Automobile, Home Appliances, Agriculture, Cosmetics and many more,” stated a spokesperson of the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce. “The enthusiasm in winning the award can be clearly seen in participants’ resourceful applications,” the spokesperson further added.
The Annual Best Corporate Citizen Sustainability Award is the main CSR and Sustainability event of the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce that recognises the outstanding work carried out by the corporate entities in the country.
The event will be celebrating its 10 years of Corporate Citizenship on 26 November at Cinnamon Grand Colombo.
