Baur Asia expands activities in Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Switzerland

The management of Baur Asia Pte. Ltd. announced yesterday that three very senior personalities have joined the organisation as vice presidents responsible for business development.

Anton Thevapalan based in Colombo/Sri Lanka has long years of experience in the corporate sector and tourism and with the growing importance of tourism and hotel management he brings a wide knowledge into our organisation.

Nadeem Rahman based in Dacca/Bangladesh is from a diplomatic background and brings long years of experience in the corporate sector both in Bangladesh and Nepal.

Roger Kunz based near Zurich/Switzerland has many years of experience in the corporate sector and has worked many years in Asia. He brings a vast experience in business negotiations to our organisation. Baur Asia Pte. Ltd. is a sister company of A. Baur & Co. (Pvt.) Ltd. and assists companies and organisations to establish themselves in the growing Asian markets. Through its tie up in Sri Lanka the company is in negotiations with a famous Swiss Hotel School to establish itself in Sri Lanka.

 The directors of the company are Thiam Siew Low and Thomas Daetwyler. The vice presidents based in Sri Lanka are Cubby Wijetunge, Mahanama Dodampegama, Amal Peiris, Anton Thevapalan, Angelo Nicholas and Yohan Dissanayake.
