Baurs received a visit from a Swiss delegation comprising Ambassador Livia Leu, delegate of the Federal Council for Trade Agreements of the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs SECO together with the Ambassador of Switzerland to Sri Lanka Heinz Walker-Nederkoorn, Kurt Meier, Deputy Head of Mission, Kanishka Ratnapriya, Political, Trade and Press Officer of the embassy and Mark Dangel, Chairman of the Sri Lanka Committee of the Swiss-Asian Chamber of Commerce.
Established in 1897 by Alfred Baur, Baurs is the oldest Swiss company in Sri Lanka. The company is celebrating its founder’s 150th anniversary this year and is fully committed to further expanding its activities in the country.
