Beetles Excell 2011 on Sunday

The Volkswagen Beetle Owners’ Club has made arrangements to hold “Beetles Excell 2011” on Sunday 27 November. The event has been organised in partnership of “Excell World” based at Darley Road, Colombo 10, who have extended the services and its premises to the VW Club to carry out the activities of the day.

Members are rest assured of a fun filled event with lots of “Beetle Buzz” that is the usual at all events organised by the Club.

The day’s activity will start off with a line-up at Green Path which will be followed with a friendly Rally Route that would lead the Bugs to the Excell World.

After a light “tummy fill” breakfast, the fun activities will take centre stage with the members being given a test of their manoeuvrability skills in a Beetle along with more fun and frolic to add to the usual camaraderie that goes on at all the events organised by the Club.

This would be followed with the fellowship lunch and the awards ceremony with a special gift of a club pocket diary that has been made to order and would be of invaluable use to the owner.

This unique idea of creating a Club Diary is in keeping to the Beetle memorabilia that is given to the membership at all major events organised by the Club.

Many members, young and old are expected to attend this unique event in their Beetles, new and old and many have already confirmed their participation and over 60 Bugs are expected to “Excell”.
