Blue Star, India’s leading air-conditioning and commercial refrigeration company, will soon enter Sri Lanka. With a strong foundation built assiduously over 70 years, Blue Star is a US$ 500 million listed company with a network of over 30 offices, 7 modern manufacturing facilities and 2,800 employees (perhaps the largest pool of AC&R engineers). It fulfils the cooling requirements of a large number of corporate, commercial as well as residential customers and also offers expertise in contracting activities such as electrical, plumbing and fire-fighting services. With channel partners in 500 locations and 3,000 outlets across India, Blue Star is one of the few companies which is recognised as a super brand by the Superbrands Council for both business as well as consumer segments. The Sri Lankan AC&R present market value is estimated at around USD 50 million with an expected growth of 15% per annum. The company will be launching its products in Sri Lanka soon and present on this occasion will be Blue Star Executive Vice President Mukundan Menon, who will address the Sri Lankan media and apprise them about the company’s plans for Sri Lanka.
