Bosch also introduced another product range, Electro-Voice pro-audio, the latest in EV speakers and microphones which will be distributed by Mike Audio.

Commenting on the choice of distributors and the reason behind these new introductions, Bosch Security Systems Export Market Sales Manager David Chu said: “They have a strong backing from Bosch. Sri Lanka has grown over the years. There has been a tremendous growth in Sri Lanka and Sri Lanka tourism is number one in the country.”

Speaking about their new products, he stated that Bosch usually supplies to the high-end market and is considered to be an expensive brand. With this launch, they hope to change this perception as Advantage Line aims at consumers in the mid-market range consisting of small and medium business and comes at a reasonable price.

Anyone looking to secure their shop, school, company etc. can purchase these easy and affordable security solutions from Bosch’s wide range of security solutions.

The CCTV products range from analog to IP to digital video recorders which have enhanced features such as night vision surveillance with and without the use of infrared, zooming up to 20 times, infrared range of 150 metres and many more.

The Advantage Line video systems offer great image quality with the lowest maintenance cost and are easier to set up, while the fire detector systems are custom-configured. The highlight of the products is that they are also easy to install and maintain. The other additional benefit of purchasing Advantage Line security solutions is the ability to keep watch over shops, schools etc. from a smartphone. Bosch has designed an Android application which allows the user to see everything through the phone. This application will be launched within the course of this year.

The public address systems, IP video and video systems come at a starting price of Rs. 150,000 while fire detectors systems commence at Rs. 750,000. These prices may vary according to the consumer’s needs and can be purchased at any of the distributors’ showrooms.

Bosch Security Solutions has been involved in keeping companies secure since 1969. They manufacture and supply global electronic protection and communications systems from around the world.
