Sri Lankan consumers will encounter and experience the most compelling and comprehensive display of home, office and IT solutions under one retail roof with the opening of the new ‘Discovery Store’ by Brown & Company PLC.
The new store, located at No. 660, Galle Road, Colombo 3, will allow customers to connect, watch, play, listen and experience the product ranges of leading brands including Sharp, Mitashi, Belkin and BG marketed by Brown & Company PLC.
“The Discovery Store is a unique channel that creates an interactive touch point for technology savvy customers, who could experience products prior to purchase” said Group MD/CEO Murali Prakash.
This foray will aim at demystifying the technology equipped in most products, where customers can touch and try out products, engage dynamic interactive displays and demonstrations and consult with product experts which make buying decisions simpler for the consumer.
“This store would carry the range of products from BG, Sharp, Olympus, Mitoshi, Vivtek and many other brands that would be a real value addition to our customers. Attractive promotion and payment schemes would also be on offer at the Discovery Store,” said Brown & Company Senior Vice President Brands and Corporate Affairs Suresh Tissaaratchy.
The company’s own BG range of products includes 3D LED TVs from 24-inch to 55-inch and also offers audio, video products, air conditioners and home appliances including refrigerators, jug kettles, ceiling fans, oven toaster grills, sandwich toasters, mixer-grinders, electric irons, rice cookers and pedestal fans.
