Brunswick Estate Maskeliya sells record quantity of 151,672 kgs in June

Brunswick Estate, Maskeliya sold a record quantity of 151,672 kgs at an average of Rs. 420.91 during the month of June. This quantity is probably the highest quantity ever sold by a Western High Grown Estate for Orthodox/Rotavane Manufacture.
Brunswick Estate is situated at an elevation of 4,100 feet above mean sea level on the Maskeliya range of mountains in the Western slope of the Central Hills.
The Wright family originally owned Brunswick Estate and the first Superintendent was Alexander Edward Wright. Currently Brunswick Estate comes under the Stewardship of the Group Manager Nalaka Withanage.
Brunswick Estate maintains a high standard of manufacture focused on producing good quality teas which has resulted in obtaining regular top prices at the Colombo Tea Auctions.
