Budget Taxi ties-up with eZ Cash

Budget Taxi, one of the largest three wheel operators in Sri Lanka has inked an agreement with premier mobile money payment gateway eZ Cash giving their passengers the option to pay for their three wheel hire with greater ease since users will no longer need to make sure they have the right amount of money in their wallets. The eZ Cash payment gateway will also allow members of the Three Wheel Drivers Association of Sri Lanka to pay their annual subscriptions from their respective mobiles saving time, money and ensuring timely payment of their association fees. The eZ Cash payment gateway is a novel mCommerce payment tool which gives Dialog subscribers a convenient way to receive and send money, pay utility bills and have instant access to cash anytime, anywhere. The transaction is secured via a Personal Identification Number (PIN). This PIN will be known only to the users and will be required to access their respective eZ Cash account as well as for transactions. Dialog subscribers will be able to use the facility for cash withdrawals from eZ Cash Accounts or at any eZ Cash Point island-wide. eZ Cash also allows Dialog subscribers to send and receive money from Dialog to Dialog accounts, from Dialog accounts to eZ Cash Points or vice versa in real time. The facility can be used to settle utility bill payments like electricity, water, insurance, etc., or make payments for any Dialog bills. The maximum limit per transaction is Rs. 5,000, while maximum value of transactions per day is Rs. 25,000. The eZ Cash service is offered by Dialog in partnership with the Hatton National Bank (HNB) that acts as the custodial bank while Deutsche Bank AG would act as the trustee of the eZ Cash account maintained at the HNB.
