CBL Chairman receives lifetime achievement award

Mineka Wickramasingha, Chairman, Ceylon Biscuits Ltd., (CBL) was named the recipient of LMD’s 2012 Lifetime Achievement Award.  In presenting the prestigious award, LMD, Sri Lanka’s pioneer business magazine, said it is recognition of CBL Chairman’s contribution to the nation over the years as a respected industrialist.

The magazine further stated that besides revolutionising the confectionery industry in Sri Lanka, Wickramasingha has also left an indelible mark as an enterprising entrepreneur, an outspoken industrialist, columnist and author.
