CCC summit to focus on ‘Integrating Development’

Sri Lanka’s upcoming Economic Summit will discuss ‘Integrating Development: Adding Value from the Regions’ with contributions coming from a number of top business executives, representing both the multinationals and national level firms. Starting the session, Rizvi Zaheed, Managing Director of Hayleys Agriculture Holdings Ltd. will deliver the key speech on ‘Opportunities in Supply Chain Development’. A panel discussion will follow Zaheed’s speech, which will see contributions coming from Selyna Peiris, Director – Business Development of Selyn Handlooms, Sanjeewa Wickramanayake, Chairman/CEO of E-W Information Systems Ltd. and Ganesan Ampalvanar, Managing Director of Nestle Lanka PLC. Adam Sack, the Country Manager of the International Finance Corporation, will moderate the session, which would be the sixth session of the event. The Sri Lanka Economic Summit 2014, an annual event organised by the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce, will be held on 5 and 6 August at the Cinnamon Grand Hotel, Colombo, under the title ‘Sri Lanka 2020: Towards Surpassing $ 7,000 Per Capita’.
