CDB relocates five branches

Citizens Development Business Finance PLC. (CDB) recently relocated its Kegalle, Kelaniya, Maharagama, Mathugama and Wellawatta branches.  

These branches have been refurbished with modern facilities via sophisticated technology to facilitate faster access with ample parking space.

Enabling real-time service for customer requirements, they also provide better convenience and allow customers to experience CDB’s wide range of offerings.  



CDB’s Kegalle branch is located at No. 227, Kandy Road, Kegalle while its Kelaniya branch is at No. 192, Kandy Road, Kiribathgoda. The Maharagama branch is at No. 249, Highlevel Road, Maharagama while the Mathugama branch is at No. 190, Aluthgama Road, Mathugama and the Wellawatte branch is at No. 416, Galle Road, Wellawatte.

CDB also reached out to the people of Batticaloa with the opening of a Service Centre at 601/D, Trincomalee Road, Batticaloa with a full range of financial services.

This new Service Centre complements CDB’s existing presence across Sri Lanka and brings the number to 33. CDB will extend its services to uplift the livelihood of the local community by providing a range of financial options to small and micro scale enterprises.

It will also actively promote the cause of the Central Bank by extending credit lines that will establish the resumption of economic activities in the northern and eastern areas.   

CDB posted a remarkable consolidated net profit after tax of Rs. 529.8 m for the financial year 2010/11.

The brand CDB has also been ranked among the top 100 Leading Brands in Sri Lanka by Brand Finance Lanka.

CDB also intends to launch savings accounts in the third quarter of this year.
