Ceylinco Life draws first batch of ‘Family Savari 5’ winners

Good news travels fast, and five families living hundreds of kilometers apart were celebrating their good fortune this week when they learnt that they are the first winners of a fully-paid-for holiday in Singapore, courtesy of Ceylinco Life.

The five families from Beliatta, Dambulla, Badulla, Wennappuwa and Pilimatalawa will be joined by 45 others selected through a series of monthly draws which will culminate in the fifth Ceylinco Life Family Savari, comprising of visits to China, Singapore and a day’s outing at Leisure World, in 2012.

The first draw for this latest edition of the life insurance leader’s grand annual promotion was conducted on Friday 9 September and also involved the selection of the first 20 families that will be invited to spend a day at the Leisure World theme park in Avissawella.

In all, 60 people from 15 policyholder families will be rewarded with an all-expenses-paid holiday in China, while 200 people representing 50 policyholder families will win a holiday in Singapore, and 2,000 others from 500 policyholder families will spend a day at Leisure World at ‘Family Savari 5.’

Draws conducted using sophisticated computer software are structured to ensure that winners will be selected from every area covered by Ceylinco Life’s 184 branches, the company said.

The Family Savari promotion began in July and runs till December 2011. All active Ceylinco Life policyholders as well as holders of Ceylinco Life Retirement Accounts (CRAs) can earn multiple winning chances at the monthly draws for this promotion, as well as at a grand draw in January 2012, after which the full list of 2,260 winners will be identified. The three ‘savaris’ are expected to take place between March and May 2012.

Existing policyholders of Ceylinco Life as well as new policyholders who have obtained, or will purchase life insurance between 1 July and 31 December 2011 with a total minimum monthly premium of Rs. 4,000, or persons who have a minimum balance of Rs. 500,000 as at 31 December 2011 in their Ceylinco Retirement Accounts are eligible to win a China tour.

Existing policyholders and new policyholders who purchase life insurance between 1 July and 31 December 2011 with a minimum monthly premium of Rs. 1,000 or CRA accountholders with a minimum balance of Rs 250,000 have a chance to participate in the Singapore tour.

 Policyholders with less than Rs. 1,000 in monthly premium or CRA account holders with a minimum balance of Rs. 250,000 are eligible to win a visit to Leisure World.

Since 2007, Ceylinco Life has rewarded more than 9,000 policyholders and their loved ones with the Family Savari experience, including luxury ocean cruises and holidays in Singapore, helicopter rides, cruises off Colombo on the ‘Jetliner’ and visits to Leisure World.
