Ceylinco Life draws first batch of ‘Family Savari 7’ winners

Fifteen lucky policyholders of Ceylinco Life learnt last week that they can take their families on an all-expenses paid holiday to Singapore after the company conducted the first draw of ‘Family Savari 7’, the latest in its series of mega promotions.
Also chosen at the same draw were 250 policyholder families for a full day’s outing at the Leisure World theme park at Avissawella.
Another 35 policyholder families who will visit Singapore, 10 policyholder families that will tour China and five policyholder families that will visit Japan, as well as 250 more policyholder families that will visit Leisure World are to be selected at the grand draw of ‘Family Savari 7’ scheduled for January 2014.
“Ceylinco Life is able to organise a promotional activity of this scale because of its financial stability and strength,” the company’s Deputy General Manager – Marketing Samitha Hemachandra said. “We are proud that Family Savari has become one of the biggest promotional activities in Sri Lanka not only in the insurance field but across all sectors.”
“Since the program’s inception in 2007 Ceylinco Life has added a new destination or an activity every year to make it more exciting for policyholders,” he said.
This year too, the draw was conducted using sophisticated computer software designed to ensure that winners will be selected from every area covered by Ceylinco Life’s branches country wide.
The overseas tours and the local excursions are scheduled to take place in March, April and May 2014.
The promotion period for Family Savari 7 runs from September to December 2013, during which all active long term Ceylinco Life policyholders as well as holders of Ceylinco Life Retirement Accounts (CRAs) can earn multiple winning chances that increase with the age of their policies. Existing or new policyholders who pay a monthly premium of Rs. 20,000 and above and have paid premiums up to 31 December 2013, or those who have a balance of Rs. 1.5 million in their CRA with a Life Plan by that date, will be eligible to win a holiday in Japan, the company said. To be eligible to win a holiday to China, a policyholder should have a monthly premium of Rs. 10,000 and paid his premiums up to 31 December 2013 or a CRA and Life Plan with a balance of Rs. 1 million.
Existing policyholders and new policyholders who purchase life insurance before 31 December 2013 with a minimum monthly premium of Rs. 3,500 and pay premiums up to 31 December 2013 and CRA accountholders with a minimum balance of Rs. 750,000 will have a chance to participate in the Singapore tour, while policyholders who pay a monthly premium of Rs. 1,000 or CRA account holders with a minimum balance of Rs. 250,000 will be eligible to win visits to Leisure World.
Emphasising the value of loyalty, policyholders will receive one additional winning chance for every year they have been with Ceylinco Life, up to a maximum of 10 winning chances for those who have been active policyholders for a decade or more. Additionally, policyholders who have paid a minimum of three premiums using direct payment methods (such as bank standing orders) will receive an additional winning chance.
