Life insurance leader Ceylinco Life has converted its centrally-located and easily accessible former headquarters to a sophisticated City Office for the convenience of customers.

The new City Office at No. 134, Galle Road, Colombo 3, is equipped with the latest facilities and accommodates a Call and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) centre, Audit Division, Central Payment Division, Quality Assurance Division, a gift shop and the Group Assurance Division. Policyholders can pay premiums and obtain all necessary information on their policies at this location.

The working environment has also been enhanced for the 200 staff members assigned to this office.

The new City Office was ceremonially inaugurated by Ceylinco Life Managing Director and CEO R. Renganathan, on the company’s 23rd anniversary.

“This building which once served as our head office remains an important reminder of the formative years and the success of the company,” Renganathan said. “The removal of security restrictions in the area, after the dawn of peace has enabled us to re-assign this building an important role in the company’s network.”

The new City Office is the latest development in Ceylinco Life’s expansion programme. Company branches were opened in many rural areas such as Achchuvely, Sooriyawewa, Mannar and Middeniya last year and at Delgoda in 2011.

Ceylinco Life commenced operations in 1988 with an office of just 2,500 square feet. In February 2010, the company moved into a modern 10 storey purpose-built head office at Havelock Road, Colombo 5. The company continues to maintain the largest branch network of 183 branches in the industry and has more than 750,000 lives covered by active policies.
