During the visit of the delegation from PAIPED Oman to the CCC, the available opportunities and incentives that Oman can provide for interested companies to invest were highlighted. It was also mentioned that the Sri Lankan exporters can benefit from the FTA Oman as with United States of America, Arab and GCC countries. The strategic location of Oman will ease the export to different countries worldwide.
Oman actively seeks foreign investment and is in the process of improving the framework to encourage such investments. Oman promotes higher education, manufacturing, healthcare, aquaculture, tea, renewable energy, ICT, and tourism as areas for investment. Investors transferring technology, developing management expertise, and providing training for Omanis are particularly welcome.
