The Ceylon Chamber of Commerce, the country’s premier business Chamber has started to collect data from Small and Medium Businesses spread across the country in order to compile a new SME Registry.

The main objective of the new registry is to help SMEs find potential business partners to further enhance their business activities.

The ‘SME Registry 2016’ will be launched at the forthcoming ‘Sri Lanka SME Forum’ organised by the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce, which will be held on 27 February in Kandy. In addition, it will be promoted amongst overseas and local participants, who will take part at the ‘Sri Lanka Investment and Business Conclave 2016’ which will be held during March.

The Ceylon Chamber of Commerce will take steps to circulate the registry among the banks, lending agencies, development partners such as the World Bank, International Monetary Fund (IMF), Japan External Trade Organisation (JETRO), Japan International Co-operation Agency (JAICA), Korea Trade Centre (KOTRA) Asian Development Bank, German Agency for Technical Co-operation (GIS) and also among local and overseas diplomatic missions.

The Chamber would like to invite interested SMEs to submit their company details to be included in this new registry. Call 011-5588854 or email to [email protected] to submit your details.
