Chalmway International achieves ISO 9001:2008 quality certification

The Chalmway International Hair and Beauty Institute (CIHBI), a leading hair and beauty academy opened in 1997, has come a long way since then, achieving ISO 9001:2008 quality standards. Chalmway is the first hair and beauty academy in Sri Lanka to partner with ‘Reach For Training Australia’ in delivering their curriculum under high standards, offering tremendously diverse opportunities for students in obtaining recognised entry requirements for Australian migration. This much-accredited Institute offers diverse opportunities by conducting specialised courses categorised into many levels of achievements. The first and foremost qualification is a Chalmway Diploma in Hairdressing/Beauty Therapy. Then there is the NVQ Level 4, which is a local qualification for hairdressers or and beauticians, specified as two individual courses. Then there is the City & Guilds UK qualification Level 2 Diploma in Hairdressing in Beauty Therapy. A much advanced course criteria which accredits to an AQF qualification specified as an AQF Diploma in Beauty Therapy which leads to a degree qualification and AQF Certificate 111 in Hairdressing City and Guilds. Annually, 300 students complete Chalmway hairdressing/beauty therapy diploma courses.
