Chrisantha appointed to Sigiriya Village, Marawila Resorts Boards

Business leader Chrisantha Perera has been appointed as an independent non executive director to the Boards of Sigiriya Village Hotels Plc and Marawila Resorts Plc, with effect from 3 January.

He is already a Board member of the companies in the plantation sector of The Colombo Fort Land and Building Group including Kotagala Plantations Plc. Perera also serves on the DFCC Bank Board in addition to being the Chairman of Ceylon Tea Brokers Plc. He also serves as a committee member of the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce.

Perera was a former Chairman of Forbes and Walker, and its subsidiaries from which he retired in 2005 after serving for 44 years. He was also a past Chairman of Sri Lanka Tea Board, Sri Lanka Insurance Corporation, PERC and Bank of Ceylon.
