Cinnamon Treasure Hunt 2015 kicks off with 63 French travel agents

The ‘Cinnamon Treasure Hunt 2015’ kicked off over the weekend with a group of 63 French travel agents taking up a five day treasure hunt challenge in Pollonnaruwa and Minneriya. The five-day treasure hunt is an initiative of Cinnamon Hotels and Resorts to promote Sri Lanka as a preferred tourist destination to French travelers. The group performed the entire Pollonnaruwa segment on bicycle, following clues of the hunt and gaining a deeper appreciation for Sri Lankan heritage in the process. The adventure continued at the Minneriya Wildlife Sanctuary, where in a convoy of 21 4x4s, each participant competed for a shot at the prize by looking to capture a winning wildlife photograph.
