City Housing Plc yesterday launched its Delkanda Phase 2 project in Nugegoda to cater to growing demand for quality housing in the area.
Chairman Janaka Ratnayake inaugurated the project by laying the foundation stone along the with company’s Deputy Chief Executive Officer S.A Lalith and Finance Director Yasas Vitharana.
The new project of City Housing comprises 10 houses and involves an investment of Rs. 350 million. It is scheduled to be completed within the next nine months. The two-storey houses which come with three bedrooms, three bathrooms, living room, kitchen and open garage are priced between Rs. 16.5 million and Rs. 22 million.
The Delkanda Housing scheme has a total of 20 houses. The first 10 houses were successfully completed and sold under phase l.
“It’s the best in Nugegoda,” claimed Ratnayake, noting that the housing scheme is built in close proximity to several main cities such as Nugegoda, Maharagama and Dehiwala, and is extremely cost effective for today’s home buyers.
As an added bonus, the company offers homeowners free membership at the Fingara Town and Country Club and for all its facilities.
City Housing Plc which has been in operation for 29 years has more plans for Nugegoda and Wattala and a total of 40 new houses will be built within next year.
The housing schemes are an excellent cost and timesaver for homebuyers looking to reside within main cities.
