Civaro Lanka’s contribution to export sector recognised

Civaro Lanka, a fully owned subsidiary of Hayleys Advantis Limited – the Transportation and Logistics arm of the Hayleys Group, bagged the Gold award for Service Providers to Exporters (large) at the National Chamber of Exporters of Sri Lanka’s NCE Awards held recently.
“We are honoured to receive this award from the NCE. 2012 was a momentous year for Civaro Lanka with the team delivering exceptional results on several challenging projects. This award will motivate us to push ourselves harder in service of Sri Lanka’s exporters,” said Civaro Lanka General Manager Ashan Fernando speaking after the event.
During the past year, Civaro Lanka launched several innovative services to better facilitate off shore customer requirements such as movement of tea from Dubai to Russia and Ukraine. Providing much needed logistics support to the Oil and Gas exploration operations in the Mannar Basin, Civaro Lanka also facilitated the movement of over-sized equipment and related material from Singapore, moving it over land to Malaysia before airlifting it to Colombo in a specially chartered Boeing 747 aircraft.
