Classic Travels appointed PSA for Indo Lanka Ferry Service

Classic Travels Ltd., subsidiary of Expolanka Holdings has been appointed as PSA Colombo District for the Indo Lanka Ferry Service between Tuticorin and Colombo.

This service is being facilitated under the auspices of the Ceylon Shipping Corporation who would overlook the complete operational aspects of this service.

The ‘Scotia Princess’ would be able to carry up to 1,044 passengers and has a variety of cabin types, i.e. First Class, Deluxe, Economy  including specialised cabins for the disabled. The ship is also equipped with a fully-fledged infirmary, numerous restaurants and entertainment facilities.

Initially two voyages per week are planned which would take from 8 – 10 hours sailing between the ports of Colombo and Tuticorin.

Classic Travels would offer visa processing, ferry bookings, special ground arrangements at both ends (if required), specialised package tours for private and corporate groups to further enhance this service just to name a few of the facilities that would be made available.
