The much admired and poplar awards for industrial and manufacturing services sector in Sri Lanka, the well known Ceylon National Chamber of Industries (CNCI) Achiever Awards 2012, will be featured for the 11th consecutive year in Sri Lanka. The achiever awards which are earmarked as a bench mark of industrial excellence is organised by Sri Lankas pioneer industry Chamber, the CNCI.
During this year, it was observed that a large number of well known and established corporate sector industrial and manufacturing services sector enterprises have forward their applications for this much awaited and anticipated competition of the year. It is indeed an interesting feature to note the enthusiasm displayed by such industrial giants in order to secure a well earned grand award at this much sought out grand Achiever Awards competition.
CNCI Secretary General/CEO Kumara Kandalama said a large number of enthusiastic applicants from various parts of the country including the Northern and Eastern provinces are taking part at the Achiever awards for 2012 and the respective industrial sectors such as paints manufacturing, food processing, rubber and plastics, leather and foot wear, building construction industry, electrical and appliance manufacturing, light engineering, machine manufacturing, glass and ceramic manufacturing, rubber products including rubber based automotive parts manufacturing, gem and jewellery, tyre manufacturing, roller shutters and doors, roofing materials manufacture, spice products, poultry and processing, agriculture products, polymer products, hydraulic, road construction, tea processing and packaging, coir, batik, automobile/vehicle assembling and manufacturing, biscuits and related food products manufacturing/insurance industry/plus the leisure and entertainment sector enterprises are included and they will be subjected to a stringent evaluation process for the prestigious Achiever Awards 2012.
