CNCI winner of Global Commerce Excellence Award 2011

The Ceylon National Chamber of Industries (CNCI) the pioneer Industry Chamber in Sri Lanka won the prestigious Global Commerce Excellence Award 2011, during a recently concluded Grand Award ceremony in Colombo.

The award was granted to the CNCI in recognition of the valuable contributions made towards the Sri Lankan industry, and manufacturing services sectors for over five decades as the foremost service facilitator.

The unique Award Ceremony was organised by the Shippers Academy Colombo, with the guidance and patronage of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka, the Sri Lanka Export Development Board and the Sri Lanka Ports Authority.    

The Ceylon National Chamber of Industries, which was mandated to be the voice of industry in the country, contributes much for the upliftment of the industry by encouraging them to achieve operational excellence and provides various educational/skills development and consultancy services with particular emphasis to the SME sectors.

The CNCI caters for all sectors of the Industry and facilitates in achieving the ambitious speedy development plan of the Government.
