Col. District Court issues enjoining against FTZ and GS employees union

Colombo District Court issued against the Free Trade Zones and General Services Employees Union.
District Court Judge Pradeep Hettiarachchi issued this order restraining the said Trade Union from it from causing its members and/or to force the employees of the Plaintiff Ansell Lanka Ltd. to remain within its precincts at the Biyagama Export Processing Zone without authority.
The Court also issued another enjoining order restraining the trade union from engaging in any disruptive or destructive activity or obstruction of the permanent or temporary workers who continue to work.
The plantiff, Ansell Lanka Ltd. cited the Free Trade Zones and General Services Employees Union as defendant.
