Commercial Bank promotes personal loans at EDEX and Wedding Fair

The stalls of the Commercial Bank of Ceylon drew thousands of visitors at two popular fairs held recently in Colombo – the EDEX Education Fair 2014 and the Wedding Fair 2014. The Commercial Bank of Ceylon promoted its Education Loan scheme under Personal Loans at its stall at EDEX to support the aspirations of Sri Lankans seeking professional or higher education qualifications. Students preparing for professional examinations or parents or guardians of such students as well as parents of students planning to enter local or foreign universities are eligible to apply for loans under the scheme. The bank offers speedy processing, convenient access to loans officers for guidance and advice before and during the repayment period.The bank also made arrangements to promote educational loans for students through higher educational institutes in the country. At the Wedding Fair, where providers of all wedding related services met under one roof to talk to prospective brides and grooms with their families, the bank promoted personal loans to visitors. The stall received many visitors who wanted to make their dream wedding a reality, the bank said. The bank stall at the Wedding Fair also offered information on Personal Loans, Online Banking and e-Banking services.
