Construction Expo 2015, Sri Lanka’s most comprehensive exhibition featuring every factor related to the construction and building industry, is scheduled to be held from 12-14 June 2015 at the BMICH.
The Ceylon Institute of Builders (CIOB), together with presidential award-winner Lanka Exhibitions & Conference Services, will be organising this mega event for the fourth consecutive year. The CIOB fully endorses this event as one of the premier construction and building materials exhibitions to be staged in Sri Lanka.
Construction, Engineering Services, Housing and Common Amenities Minister Wimal Weerawansa speaks at the launch. Others from left are Lanka Exhibition & Conference Services Ltd. CEO Aasim Mukthar, Construction Expo Organising Committee Chairman Mahanama Jayamana, Sri Lanka Institute of Architects President Prof. Chithra Weddikkara, Ceylon Institute of Builders President Dr. Rohan Karunaratne and Beijing Lansing Century Exhibition Co Ltd. General Manager Zhou QI
Over the years the exhibition has been the most sought-after gathering places for consumers who are on the lookout for different facets related to the construction industry as well as products and service providers.
Exhibitors have found the exhibition to be a potent and comprehensive platform to meet new customers and network.
Construction Expo 2015 will also feature a ‘World Construction Symposium’ with the participation of foreign construction giants. This concurrent event will add both colour and world-class expertise to the mega event.
A special Chinese pavilion will be on display this year with over 30 companies. The visiting Chinese delegation will be having B2B meetings and will be on the lookout for prospective agents and distributors.
Sri Lanka is currently experiencing a gradual boom in construction with both urban and rural areas being developed to match the standards of developed nations. As much as Government ventures and corporate ventures in construction are gathering momentum, single unit consumers, who are largely families who seek to build their home or further their construction-related needs, are also among the thousands of visitors who gather at the three-day event.
This will be a one of a kind exhibition with almost every stakeholder related to the industry present. Consumers have grown to look at the exhibition as the one-stop shop to suit their needs and over the years many of them do all their purchases, inquiries and other related work during the three days of the show.
