Craighead and Dombagastalawa breaks own All Time Record Prices

Craighead and Dombagastalawa factories improved on the All Time Record Prices established by them recently, at the Tea Auctions that concluded this week.
A line of BOP1 grade from Craighead Factory established an all time record price of Rs. 890 per kg which surpassed its own record of Rs. 800 established last week. This line of tea was purchased by Empire Tea Limited.
A line of OP1 Grade from Dombagastalawa mark of Kataboola Estate established an all time record price of Rs. 860 per kg which surpassed its own record of Rs. 820 which was established last week. This line of tea was purchased by M/s Akbar Brothers.
These two plantations are owned and managed by Kahawatte Plantations PLC who are the trend setters in quality manufacture in the orthodox medium grown category.
Forbes & Walker Tea Brokers Limited conducted the sale of both these lines and are the sole brokers for these two marks.
