Creative design a top career for youngsters of today

AOD international design campus together with Northumbria University Design UK presents INSPIRE DESIGN Open Day today (1 June 2013).

“We have set the standards in salaries and remuneration levels for our designers, as talent and international standard design education can draw top dollar salaries in today’s world,” said Karen MacLeod Principal AOD International Design Campus.

AOD organises this open day to demonstrate the importance of design in today’s world, design education, careers in design as well as the opportunities available for Sri Lankan students to pursue global standard design education here at home.

This open day is an interactive day that presents the many facets of design education available with the international Northumbria design degrees at AOD. From the programme curricula, students’ work process, the industry-student collaborative project, facilities available in the campus, to information on graduated students and their careers will be presented in detail at the event. This open day also presents a unique opportunity to meet AOD campus’ 100% international teaching faculty.

In addition, AOD will also host a range of free design workshops conducted by its international faculty; this provides a rare opportunity for prospective design students to receive introductory creative education from the campus’ global faculty and understand first-hand, the quality of education delivered at the campus. The workshops will be held throughout the day in graphic design, fashion, interior design and motion graphics & animation design.
