CSE imposes trading halt on Orient Garments trading

The Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE) has suspended the trading of Orient Garments Plc on Thursday pending submission of proper disclosure.

In a statement the CSE said it has written to Orient Garments PLC twice - on 7 and 11 January requiring the company to render disclosure regarding the current status of the company.

“However, the CSE has not received a response from OGL to date. In the above circumstances, the CSE has imposed a Trading Halt on the securities of the company until the company submits disclosure to the CSE to be disseminated to the market regarding the current status of the company,” the statement added.
