A wide range of exquisite products of Dankotuwa Porcelain will be on display at the three-day Hotel Show 2013 at the BMICH starting today.
Dankotuwa Porcelain has participated in the Hotel Show on three occasions. This event has helped the company immensely in showcasing its world-class quality products which can be used in upmarket restaurants in Sri Lanka. The company has obtained very good feedback from previous shows and is hopeful of strengthening ties with the hotels and restaurants in Sri Lanka further by attending this show for the fourth time.
Dankotuwa has been successful in penetrating the hotel and catering sector over the last two years.
The company’s products can be seen in most of the three to five star hotels in the island including those in the Northern and Eastern provinces. Dankotuwa has been the most preferred supplier by chefs and food and beverage managers when selecting their requirements during refurbishment and replacements.
CEO Sarath Mallawarachchi said that they concluded another successful event, the hotel show in the Maldives which ended on 6 July 2013 and the company was successful in securing valuable orders as a result of their participation at this event in Male. “We are continuously developing more and more new items to suit different types of tastes. We have understood that the shapes and dimensions required are different for various types of foods in order to enhance the ambience of fine dining,” noted Mallawarachchi.
The company’s Senior Manager of Business Development for domestic sales added that they plan to reserve a large display space exclusively for the catering industry at their renovated showroom at Kirulapone.
This will be available to customers by mid-August.
Daisy Karunaratne, the company’s Manager of Corporate Sales, expects the relationship between the company and hoteliers, which has been extremely cordial during last year, will continue in the future too. Dankotuwa products can be seen at stalls number six and seven at the Sirimavo Bandaranaike Memorial Exhibition Centre.
