Deputy Minister of Investment Promotion Faiszer Musthapa addressed a delegation comprising of leaders of top US based companies in India. The event was a collaborative effort by AmCham Sri Lanka together with Amcham India.
The Deputy Minister addressed a delegation comprising of individuals such as GE South East Asia Vice President Corporate Affairs Rakesh Chitkara, Boston Scientific India Head of International Business Partho Banerjee and Altair Engineering India Managing Director Pavan Kumar, to name a few of the many figureheads of the esteemed delegation.
The purpose of the collaborative effort of AmCham India and Sri Lanka was to develop trade and investment ties between the US and Sri Lanka by drawing from the over 400 US-based companies that formulate AmCham India’s membership.
The Minister discussed topics pertaining to trade and investment opportunities in Sri Lanka, hoping to enlighten the delegation of the lucrative nature of the business climate in Sri Lanka. The delegation was addressed at a luncheon meeting coordinated by AmCham Sri Lanka at the Board of Investment (BOI) Sri Lanka.
