DI Leather Boutique opens newest store at Union Place

Ceylon Leather Products PLC (CLPL) opened its latest DI Leather Boutique at Union Place, a prime location in the busy shopping and commercial district of Colombo. The store is housed at the Colombo Pharmacy Company premises, which is an ERI group company.

The store was ceremonially declared opened by Lalith Heengama, Chairman of Environmental Resources Investment PLC, the holding company of Ceylon Leather Products PLC.

The tastefully designed new DI store offers both ladies’ and gents’ footwear, gents’ bags, ladies’ handbags and a variety of leather accessories which are produced by award winning leather fashion designers.

The CLPL design department won 14 awards at the recently held Footwear and Leather Fair 2012 at the BMICH. The talented design team won the first, second and third prize in the leather goods category and first and second prize in the gents’ footwear category along with many other merit awards. The store showcases many of the new designs created by these talented teams which will attract the discerning customer.

A welcoming and attractive addition to the latest DI store are the ladies shoes which is of export quality produced by Palla & Company, a subsidiary of CLPL. Palla is a genuine leather company catering to a broad array of customers throughout Europe offering high quality women’s footwear.

The beautifully designed ladies shoes add a style statement for the fashion conscious woman. Their unique style incorporates an international look, which offers an exotic style to savvy Sri Lankan shoppers.
