The Sri Lanka-Malaysia Business Council of the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce will be holding an event on 2 April at the Hilton Residencies at 5:30 p.m. under the title of “Powering Employees to Think like Businessmen”.
The evening event is aimed at inspiring the middle and senior management of leading corporates and SMEs, who want to inspire their employees to take calculated risks, question the norm and innovate to disrupt.
The forum will see contributions from successful industry leaders in Sri Lanka, who over the years have taken calculated risks, pounced on opportunities and built brands, literally out of sheer gut and determination.
Laugfs Holdings PLC Chairman W.K.H. Wegapitiya will deliver the key note address at this event, while NDB Bank PLC Director/CEO Rajendra Theagarajah, Softlogic Capital PLC Managing Director Ifthikar Ahmed and Jahashakthi Insurance PLC CEO/Managing Director Prakash Schafter will sit for the panel discussion.
They will explain what corporate leaders need to do to create a culture in their organisation, where the status quo is questioned, everyone is empowered for action and that failure is not tolerated.
MAS Bodyline Ltd. Director, Insight and Innovation Irfan Ahmed will moderate the panel discussion.
