There can be few greater joys than owning your own home. For three lucky Diva consumers, the first steps towards this ultimate dream was recently made a reality during the sixth edition of Diva’s ‘Idame Vasanawa’ competition.

The competition is celebrated as a mega consumer promotional campaign in the country designed to reward loyal consumers with valuable plots of land as gifts. Held annually over the the past six years, the competition is eagerly awaited by Diva consumers.

Organised annually by Hemas Manufacturing and Diva, the competition has presented a total of 19 valuable plots of land as gifts during the past five years. More than 500 gold coins, cash rewards and other gifts have also been presented during the course of the competition.

Inaugurated in 2011, Diva consumers were invited to participate in ‘Ravumata Idamak’, a consumer promotion offering valuable land as gifts. This was continued in 2012 by a campaign titled ‘Nuwanakkariyanta Idamak’ which also rewarded consumers with land close to Colombo.

This year, too, three lucky winners walked away with plots of land located in close proximity to Colombo as part of the ‘Idame Vasanawa’ promotion between August and October. Consumers also stood a chance to win gold coins on a weekly basis and valuable cash prizes daily.

“It is a great joy to provide consumers with products that enrich their lives and ease their lifestyles. It is also a great pleasure to reward consumers with gifts that change their entire lives and enable them to make their dreams come true,” Hemas Marketing Manager Fiona Munasinghe said.
