Dynamic AV Technologies appointed as the sole distributor for TAO Electronics products

Japan-based manufacturer of commercial and professional sound systems TOA Electronics, recently appointed Dynamic AV Technologies Pvt Ltd., as their sole distributor for all of TAO products in Sri Lanka at Galadari Hotel last week.

Since its inception in 2008, Dynamic AV Technologies has successfully used TOA products in the recent past for a number of projects before being appointed as the sole distributor; an audio conferencing and interpretation system was installed at Temple Trees, another audio conferencing system at the University of Jayewardenepura, and a public addressing system has been installed at the Sri Lanka Customs building. They have also completed projects for the Musaeus College Auditorium, the Urban Development Authority and Boyaganne Army camp among many.

“These projects are of two different markets and expertises,” said Dynamic AV Managing Director Mohan Abeysinghe. Apart from commercial projects, they also do event management. Currently they are offering their services to ICC World T20 for sound entertainment. Speaking on this, Abeysinghe said, “This contract was not an easy one to get, but we know our business and our resources in terms of people.”

An official from TOA Electronics stated that TOA has been in Sri Lanka for the past 25 years, but they have not been able to gain the right exposure. Having worked with Dynamic AV in the recent past, they have been convinced that Dynamic AV is the best choice.

Addressing the media, Abeysinghe said, “We are honoured and excited to be appointed sole distributor of TOA products in Sri Lanka as it gives us the additional fire power to be the preferred ‘one stop’ AV solutions provider in the country. During the past several years, there has been a boom in the construction industry, especially in relation to the tourism sector. As such, the need for good, high quality yet affordable audio systems in the corporate sector in the country is very high. TOA has a wide range of quality products and we are confident that together we can offer customers tailor made solutions for all public address and conference system requirements.”

He further said that in order for Dynamic AV to get TOA Electronics on board, it took them 18 months after endless efforts to show that they are capable of giving them the proper exposure.

Further speaking on the reason behind the agreement between the two companies, Abeysinghe stated: “TOA products are good products that come at an affordable price. Their products are in demand. People want it and we are happy to have got this opportunity.”

Founded in 1934, TOA Electronics have dedicated itself to developing, manufacturing and distributing premier audio products. They focus on three areas: information and communication, security and safety and professional audio.

With a tagline as ‘Supply sound, not equipment’, they have achieved worldwide success. Their products have been installed in famous places such as the Beijing National Stadium, The Natural History Museum in London, Istiqlal Mosque in Jakarta, and Tokyo International Airport just to name a few. TOA Electronics Managing Director, Mastro Yura in conclusion said: “We wish to contribute to the Sri Lankan society with our products.”

At the event held at Galadari, they showed off their range of high quality audio products that will be available at the Dynamic AV showrooms in Colombo, Kandy, and through their Dealers in Galle, Negombo and Batticaloa.
