‘Step Inside The Circuit’ Mega Promotion Lucky Draw at Alpha Duty Free in BIA

Alpha Orient Lanka Limited, the leading duty free retailer at Bandaranaike International Airport, gave its patrons the chance to feel the loud, powerful and exhilarating experience of the F1 Grand Prix in Singapore, this September. On successful completion of the promotion, a lucky draw was held at the arrivals duty free shop with the patronage of Dimantha Kinigama, CEO of Alpha Orient, a few managers of the organisation and a representative of the Western Province – Department of Revenue.

The customers who purchased selected products from the Alpha Orient Lanka Duty Free Arrivals Outlet at Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) from 3 April to 30 June, 2011, qualified for daily and monthly prizes, in addition to a grand mega prize.

Approximately six daily prizes were awarded via scratch cards and the lucky winners walked away with F1 Car Shaped USB Drives (4GB) and F1 T-shirts, whilst monthly winners and the mega winner were selected through a lucky draw.

The three monthly winners who were chosen through the lucky draw will enjoy the F1 Grand Prix race experiences, including a Grand Stand F1 pass, return air ticket and hotel stay for 2 nights. The Mega prize winner will experience celebrity treatment as he/she enjoys the F1 Singapore Grand Prix, in true style. The mega winner will walk away with a Silver Pass for the F1 Singapore Grand Prix, return air ticket and hotels stay. All in all, a once in a lifetime experience.

This promotion will be a precursor to the F1 Vodafone McLaren Mercedes Car which Alpha Orient Lanka intends to bring and exhibit in Sri Lanka during the festive season in November and December 2011.
