‘Thagi Pita Thagi’ from Seylan Bank to all ‘Sure’ customers

Seylan Bank has further expanded its rewards portfolio for its thousands of Seylan SURE customers all over Sri Lanka with Thagi Pita Thagi.

Seylan SURE is a specially crafted scheme which brings gifts and cash rewards to all current and normal savings (both individual and joint) account holders customers who maintain a minimum balance of Rs. 20,000 with the bank.

Seylan SURE focuses on four important areas of one’s life – marriage, the birth of a child, the birthdays of senior citizens and surgery.  All such account holders will receive special cash rewards at marriage and on the birth of a child. It goes a step further and gives account holders a cash grant when they have to undergo surgery (cataract operations included) at a private or government hospital. This facility is also extended to the account holders’ immediate family members.

Furthermore, all senior citizens account holders will be rewarded on their 60th birthday or any birthday after that on a one-off basis.

Account holders who maintain regular balances in pre-specified slabs of Rs. 20,000 to Rs. 30,000, Rs 30,001- to Rs. 60,000, Rs. 60,001 to Rs. 90,000, Rs. 90,001 to Rs. 150,000, and Rs. 150,001 upwards, are entitled to the rewards.

The   Seylan ‘Sure’ customers could be entitled to the ‘Thagi Pita Thagi’ draw scheme in addition to the existing benefits on offer as mentioned.

New accounts opened with an initial deposit of Rs. 5,000 maintained for one calendar month will earn two winning chances at the draw along with an additional bonus winning chance.

Existing account holders should maintain a minimum balance of Rs. 5,000 for a period of one calendar month and earn one winning chance. Multiples of Rs. 5,000 in the existing balance will earn one winning chance each. Every additional new deposit of Rs. 5,000 will earn two winning chances at the draw.

The winning chances for Savings and Current accounts will be according to the net balance at the end of the month.

Accumulated number of winning chances at the monthly draws will be equal to the number of winning chances available for the Grand Draw. A minimum of 10 winning chances from one product are required to qualify for the Grand Draw.

The overall winner selected from the grand draw at the end of the six-month promotion wins a super luxury house worth Rs. 15 million.

Meanwhile, the 10 winners selected from the six monthly draws could win monthly Rs. 1 million, motor bikes, LCD TVs, refrigerators, home entertainment systems, sofa sets, lap tops, fully automatic washing machines, four burner gas cookers and gold sovereigns each month.

With the highest number of qualifying chances ever, ‘Seylan Thagi Pita Thagi’ also has 20 guaranteed monthly consolation winners (branch wise) in addition to the other lucky monthly winners.
