EAP Broadcasting and Films win Gold and Silver at Annual Report Awards

The EAP Group of Companies reached a special milestone in the Group’s eventful journey of 45 years when two companies of the Group, EAP Broadcasting Co. Ltd. and EAP Films & Theaters Ltd. received Gold and Silver Awards respectively in the Media and Entertainment category at the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka Annual Report competition held recently.

This achievement comes on the heels of both entities receiving recognition at the National Chamber of Commerce Business Excellence Awards where two Silver Awards were bagged. The Group bagged Gold and Silver awards at this event last year too.

“These awards represent the efforts being made in recent years to implement best practice standards in Financial Accounting and Operations, Financial Reporting, Corporate Governance and Compliance, Internal Financial Controls and Risk Management amongst other measures, across the entire Group of Companies” said Group Chairman Mano Tittawella and Group Director/GM- Finance and Planning Bertal Pinto Jayawardena.
