Educational and trade fair by J’pura Uni. Dept. of Entrepreneurship 15-16 May

The Department of Entrepreneurship of University of Sri Jayewardenepura is the only department which produces graduates who create job opportunities, instead of creating job seekers. The third and fourth year students of the department have organised an educational and trade fair which is to be held on 15 and 16 May at the University of Sri Jayewardenepura premises. The event is termed as the ‘Business Fair 2016’.

University lecturers, school teachers, practicing entrepreneurs, professionals including managers, university students, school students and the general public are being invited to participate in the event. The event will be furnished with a number of private and government business development support services (BDSS), exhibition stalls arranged by the university students, special workshops organised by the department for school students and also lots of amusement events.

The organisers have especially planned a Business Clinic during these two days in order to solve the business related problems and obtain the services from BDSS. The Business Clinic is being organised to render its services to 5,000 businesses. Registering the job seekers at the job bank of the department, launching the alumni association of the Faculty of Management Studies and Commerce, a get together and a cultural show also have been organised concurrently to the event.
