Stirring up plenty of excitement and anticipation, the Elephant House ‘Stick Eke Luck Eka’ consumer promotion recently concluded its first draw. On offer at this preliminary draw held on 30 August were eight mountain bikes and four each of the other mega prizes which were play stations, digital cameras and Samsung Galaxy phones.  They will be gifted to the 20 lucky winners at a ceremony to be held on 4 September at the Hilton Colombo Residence commencing at 9:30 a.m. The ‘Stick Eke Luck Eka’ consumer promotion generated in excess of over 50,000 entries for the first draw, and along the way saw thousands of Elephant House Ice cream fans winning free ice creams as instant prizes. The competition was based on the ‘stick range’ which includes Elephant House 2Bar, Jumbo Jolly and Wonder Bar.  “This is the first time in Sri Lanka that a promotion of such magnitude is being held for the 60ml stick ice cream category and we are much encouraged by the tremendous response we have received from our numerous consumers. We look forward to rewarding them with a host of valuable prizes through this preliminary draw and thereafter, the grand draw,” said Neil Samarasinghe, Head of Frozen Confectionery at Ceylon Cold Stores PLC (Elephant House), and Vice President, John Keells Holdings PLC at the completion of the event.
