Elephant House wins NCE Gold Award

Esteemed iconic local manufacturer, Elephant House received the gold award at the coveted National Chamber of Exports (NCE) Awards 2011 for doing outstandingly well in the Medium Size Industry Sector category. This award recognises the company’s continuous commitment to develop the local exports industry.

Elephant House soft drinks include a wide range of drinks in its portfolio and are available in the EU and the Middle East offering a wide range of choice to their consumers. Also Elephant Ginger Beer (EGB) is being exported to over 25 countries, including the United Kingdom, Canada, the Middle East, India and West Africa.

In the Ice Cream segment, Elephant House expanded its presence in the export category to New Zealand and Kuwait while it continued to dominate the market in Maldives by strengthening its share up to a staggering 54% beating many global brands. Elephant House also has plans to strengthen its market further in the Maldives by making significant expansions in the resort market.
