Embark, Odel’s unique fashion brand with a cause, is to host a special event at the newly-opened concept store on Saturday, 30 November at ‘K Zone’ Ja-Ela.
Located within the sprawling 12,000 square foot Odel store in the complex, this prototype new-concept store will accommodate the complete Embark range of stylish clothing, accessories, tokens, gifts and pet products, and will be the biggest dedicated retail space for the Embark brand in Sri Lanka. An interactive touch display at the new Embark store offers visitors a facility to obtain information on products and CSR initiatives, as well as to view Embark fashion shows and experience the brand’s game apps.
In keeping with the excitement that the new Embark store is expected to generate, a series of activities has been planned for the benefit of visitors on the opening day, the company said. Some of these are a portrait session with the Embark mascots Niko, Bandit and Rozzy with a free frame thrown in, attractive prizes through an interactive gaming app, a ‘Find Niko’ game, and a ‘Guess Niko’s weight’ game. Visitors also stand a chance of getting the first edition of the Embark T-shirts autographed by the founder of Embark, Otara Gunewardene.
“This new-concept Embark store is an experience in itself,” said Odel CEO Otara Gunewardene. “Everything from visual merchandising to product has an embedded Embark story, providing a complete Embark experience to visitors.”
The new-concept Embark store at Ja-Ela is intended to be the first in a series of similar stores within Odel stores in Sri Lanka, the company said.
