EMP steps up as principal sponsor for Construct Exhibition 2015

Electro Metal Pressings (EMP), a leading company in the engineering construction industry, has stepped up as the principal sponsor for the upcoming exhibition ‘Construct 2015’ in its 15th consecutive year under the theme ‘Build Your Dreams’.

Organised by the National Construction Association of Sri Lanka (NCASL) and endorsed by Ministry of Housing and Samurdhi, the construction exhibition will be held from 28 to 30 August at the BMICH.

Chairman of EMP Group Chandranandana Diyunuge said: “We are delighted to have sponsored and extended our support to one of the most attractive trade exhibitions in the country.”

“We look forward to further strengthen our relationship and strengthen our traditional stronghold of our range of products and services to the construction industry which is set for high growth with the recent changes in Government policies especially after having passed the Construction Act in Parliament last December,” he further stated.

The three-day exhibition will attract around 350 local and foreign stalls this time bringing together builders, architects, engineers, contractors, developers, consultants, interior designers, quantity surveyors, amongst many others including sub-industry players, and will be a highly interactive and engaging networking platform and resource centre for the construction industry.

Founded in 1982, EMP manufactures internationally-accredited casings and panel boards, cable management systems, computer data racks and other related customised electrical and electronic products whilst operating four other subsidiaries to provide a total solution to the engineering construction industry.

This includes EMP PVA Technology, a provider of PVC pipes, conduits and accessories custom-built to the demands of the building industries and homesteads; AKLAN International, an accredited trading company supplying world-renowned electrical components; OMATA Water Management, an expert service provider for the water and sanitation sector as well as electricity and petroleum sector; and EMP Projects Lanka, a company dedicated in delivering turnkey projects using high-tech engineering solutions.
