ERI’s manufacturing companies on show at Expo 2012

Taking full advantage of the opportunities available for its manufacturing companies to expand into the   foreign markets, Environmental Resources Investment PLC group is fully endorsing the efforts of the Export Development Board (EDB) in having all its manufacturing subsidiaries participate in the four day Expo 2012   currently on at the BMICH.



Ceylon Leather Products PLC – (CLPL), Dankotuwa Porcelain PLC – (DPL), South Asia Textile Industries Lanka (Pvt) Ltd. – (SAT), and ERI’s latest acquisition through CLPL, Palla & Company are those which will be making their presence at this much look forward to trade fair. Apart from Dankotuwa, it is the first time that the rest of the ERI manufacturing companies are participating at an Expo Trade Exhibition.

The manufacturing companies of the ERI group produce   quality locally produced products  including Dankotuwa’s  porcelain tableware, Ceylon Leather and Palla’s  award winning shoes and leather goods, and South Asia Textile’s  knitted fabric manufactured according to the highest international standards.

Expo 2012 is organized by the Export Development Board to  facilitates buyers to make Sri Lanka a sourcing destination for quality products & services and this  encourages the exporters to increase their export volumes and to diversify their products and markets. This renewed efforts by the  EDB is in keeping with their target to increase the  total value of exports to US dollars 15 billion by 2015. Special features such as Symposiums, Key Note Addresses, Corporate Events and vast networking opportunities are in place at this year’s exhibition.
