Popular English language Television Channel, ETV, is now on the PEO TV platform. All subscribers of PEO TV now have access to ETV, without an additional cost.

“By bringing ETV to our platform and adding it to the bouquet of channels we have, we demonstrate our commitment to bring the best of Television entertainment to our subscribers. Subscribers now can watch ETV programmes whenever they want by using Time Shift TV; a unique aspect of PEO TV,” SLT VisionCom Ltd., CEO Malraj Balapitiya said.

“We are happy to partner with PEO TV and take ETV to households island-wide, through SLT wire-line connections. The partnership with PEO TV further strengthens our distribution, particularly outside of our free to air coverage. Digital and interactive platforms are the future of television distribution, and PEO TV will now enable us to move towards those innovations. The unique blend of locally produced programmes such as Culinary Journeys with Dharshan, Put a Chat with auntie netta on ETV, The Ashok Ferrey Show, LBO, LBR, ETV Made in Sri Lanka, and ETV Sound Gallery along with imported content allows ETV to cater to the viewing needs of audiences who prefer English language TV content,” ETV Managing Director Lakshaman Bandaranayake said.

ETV’s newest line-up of programmes is a celebration of cosmopolitan lifestyle in Sri Lanka. With its new channel programming strategy, ETV will be positioned as the channel that brings the best of “local lifestyle entertainment” to your TV screens. ETV is going to be about “people you know and the Sri Lankan life you can relate to!”
