Faiszer Musthapha in Zurich for Swiss-Sri Lanka forum

Faiszer Musthapha, Deputy Minister of Investment Promotion, will be in Switzerland this week to participate in the Swiss-Sri Lanka Forum titled ‘Foreign Direct Investment for Sri Lanka – Needs, Possibilities and Strategies’ organised by the Swiss-Asian Chamber of Commerce (SACC). The Deputy Minister will be the keynote speaker at the forthcoming forum which will be held in Zurich. Faiszer Musthapha will discuss the post-conflict development in Sri Lanka and its impact on the economy, focusing especially on the facilities and incentives provided to lure foreign investment. Major Swiss industries, representatives of large Swiss family investment offices, Obviam – the investment arm of the Swiss Government (which has put Sri Lanka, among others, on its priority investment list this year), the Swiss Government and the Sri Lankan embassies in Geneva, Berlin and Frankfurt are also due to participate at this forum.   The Deputy Minister of Investment Promotion also recently completed his official tour to the United Arab Emirates and participated at the investment forum held in Dubai and visited Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Ajman Chamber of Commerce and met with other high ranking officials of the Government of UAE.
