Finance Minister discusses bilateral issues, PM’s visit with Pakistan envoy

A pre-discussion meeting on the visit of Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Shariff who is scheduled to arrive in the country in January was held at the Parliament Complex yesterday between Sri Lanka’s Pakistan High Commissioner Syed Shakeel Hussian and Finance Minister Ravi Karunanayake. The discussion mainly centered on the matters to be discussed during the Pakistani Premier’s stay in Sri Lanka in respect of bilateral economic cooperation. The aim of the Pakistani Prime Minister’s visit is to further buttress the already cordial relationship between the two nations
