Finlays Colombo (JFIN) announced yesterday that its Board of Directors has decided to close down Sterifirst, the medical waste treatment and disposal business carried out by its fully-owned subsidiary, Finlay Rentokil (Ceylon) Ltd., w.e.f. 13 December 2013.
The move was because it was found that the continuing the said business operation will not be viable.
Finlay Rentokil Ceylon Ltd. will continue to operate its other businesses.
